Cook Street Village

Cook Street Village isn't technically a separate municipality or a formal neighbourhood. It's something better. It's a micro-neighbourhood within Fairfield that feels like its own town, a few blocks of tree-lined streets packed with local cafes, independent shops, bakeries, and the kind of sidewalk energy that makes you want to linger.

The village sits right along Cook Street between Michigan Street and Dallas Road, and its position is what makes it extraordinary. Step outside your front door and you're a five-minute walk from the Dallas Road waterfront trail, a spectacular cliff-edge path with panoramic ocean views that stretches from Ogden Point all the way to Oak Bay. Beacon Hill Park, one of Victoria's most beloved green spaces, is right there too: 200 acres of mature trees, gardens, playing fields, and a petting zoo that's been a family institution for generations.
